Refund & Cancellation Policy

Jallarhorn™ is billed as a monthly subscription. There is no long-term contract. This page tells you exactly when you can stop paying and what happens to the time you have already paid for.

1. 30-day free trial

Every paid tier (Office and Business) starts with a 30-day free trial. We collect a payment method when you sign up so the transition to paid is seamless, but no charge runs during the trial. Cancel any time in those 30 days and you are never billed.

2. Monthly billing after the trial

On the day the trial ends — day 31 from signup — we run the first monthly charge. From then on we bill in whole calendar months on the same day-of-month you signed up. If you signed up on the 14th, your billing date is the 14th of every month. If you signed up on the 31st of a month, on shorter months we bill on the last day of that month (industry-standard end-of-month behaviour).

3. Cancellation

You can cancel from your billing portal at any time. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current monthly cycle. You keep full access until that date; no further charges run after it. We do not pro-rate within a cycle and we do not refund partial months — the period you have already paid for stays yours.

To cancel: sign in, open Settings → Billing, click Cancel subscription. Or email support@jallarhorn.com from the email address on the account and we will cancel it for you.

4. When we will refund a charge

Two cases:

  • Duplicate or accidental charge. If a charge runs that should not have — payment method tested twice, you cancelled but were billed anyway — email support@jallarhorn.com and we will refund the full amount.
  • Free-tier mis-charge. The Free tier is free. If you ended up paying while on a Free plan, email us and we will investigate and refund any charge that should not have run.

Refunds are initiated within one business day. Funds typically return to the original payment method in 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. What is not refundable

Refunds do not cover: months already used (cancellation ends the cycle, but the paid time is not refunded); Enterprise agreements delivered under a signed order form (those are governed by that order form, not this page); one-time custom integration work or support retainer hours already consumed; SMS or voice notification overage where Trellis has already paid the downstream carrier.

6. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge through your bank or card issuer rather than contacting us, we will respond to the chargeback with the account and usage records we are required to provide. We prefer the email path — it is faster and does not affect your payment-processor standing. If the chargeback is ruled against you, your account may be suspended until the balance is resolved.

7. Free tier

The Free tier (10 devices) is free and has no trial countdown. You can stay on it indefinitely. The only billing event is automatic upsizing if your device count climbs past 10 and you have card-on-file enabled, in which case the next month bills at the Office rate. You can disable auto-upsize in Settings → Billing.
